In this role, you will oversee the operations of the Driver License Center, guiding employees in their daily activities. You will be accountable for managing human resources, which encompasses recruitment, placement, training, employee recognition, and disciplinary actions for both Civil Service and union-represented staff. Additionally, you will ensure that knowledge and skills assessments are conducted consistently and equitably across the Driver License Center. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating the overall performance and productivity of field employees through direct observations, analysis of productivity metrics, quality ratings, test outcomes, and customer satisfaction feedback.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
This position may require overtime and travel.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as a Driver License Examiner (commonwealth title); or
Two years of experience as a Driver License Examiner Assistant (commonwealth title); or
Three years of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.Special Requirements:
This position requires an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent and twenty-one years of age at the time of application.
This position requires no suspensions or revocations of a driver's license during the five-year period immediately preceding employment.Other Requirements:
