Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Senior Accountant, located in Norristown, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including account and balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management. This role requires a high level of proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Responsibilities: Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Reconcile balance sheets and deliver summary reconciliation reports to the management team. Perform bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy. Manage the general ledger and assist in preparing financial statements. Analyze financial reports and identify discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO’s attention. Prepare and post journal entries and ensure the accuracy of entries. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data compilation, analysis, and financial reporting. Coordinate month-end close procedures for timely preparation of monthly financials. Operate NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and other financial systems for various accounting functions.Requirements A minimum of five years of experience in the role of a Sr. Accountant or similar is required Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations is mandatory Sound knowledge of General Ledger management and Journal Entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Must have experience in performing month-end close procedures Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required Certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
