This role has technical expertise in data analytics and enables the consumption of data and reporting by Legal Services teams, at all levels. It also manages relationships, prioritizes work with interdepartmental and external partners, and ensures data and system reliabilityWhat you will do:Enable the department to leverage the full value of data analytics, through establishment of key performance indicators and metrics in areas such as external counsel selection and spend, panel use, matter budgeting and allocation, resourcing and, identification and flagging of billing concerns.Manage the background systems (data warehouses, data flows/models, queries, etc.) which enable dashboards to translate data into graphs, charts, tables, scorecards, narratives, etc. for effective department operations and on-brand presentation.Amalgamate cross-departmental data sources and leverage future technologies and connections, such as Azure or Hyperion, to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency/accuracy.Strengthen the area of process and governance through maintenance and development of use and adoption metrics.Ensure optimization of current technologies through collaboration with the performance team and key and gap analysis.Enable technology implementation, configurations, and investments through understanding of current and future state Legal Services systems.Serve as the key contact to department for insights and advice related to technologies, data and related business processes.Monitoring of system permissions for non-compliance and use. Ensure data availability through monitoring tools and collaboration with TIS/vendor.Customer service & systems admin and manage TeamConnect (ebilling & matter management tool)Maintain effective feedback loops through suggestions and understanding of implications of systems integrity. Translate into self-serve tools or system enhancements.Ensure and assist with provision of effective decision-making tools, technology and systems, communications, and training, in coordination with Change Management.Use agile and other project management methodologies to coordinate, prioritize, scope, estimate and deliver effective dashboards.Who you are:Required:University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science), or demonstrated equivalent experience.Minimum 2 to 4 years of related broad business experience; involvement on large and/or transformational process change, and management is particularly desirable.Highly self-motivated with the ability to proactively drive projects, identify and resolve legal and business issues, and earn the confidence and cooperation of stakeholders.Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skillsExperience working effectively at all levels in an organization and ability to develop collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated proficiency with Power BI for data analysis and visualization.Strong experience in SQL query development, including in SQL Server and Oracle/Azure environments.Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data manipulation and presentationPreferred:Knowledge of Legal matter management (TeamConnect), an asset.Enbridge Flex work programEnbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
