IT Systems Administrator

This role involves overseeing software systems implementation, training, and maintenance to ensure they run smoothly and meet security standards. Additionally, it includes monitoring user activity to improve efficiency across the organization, managing internet connectivity at various sites, along with troubleshooting issues and ensuring high-speed access. The IT Systems Administrator also handles IT infrastructure and security measures to protect data. They will lead cybersecurity training to keep employees informed and implement measures to counter evolving threats.Position Requirements:Note: Qualifications are based upon education, resume and/or work experience.

Proven experience in IT support.

Strong knowledge of software systems and internet connectivity solutions. Strong communication and analytical skills, with strong technical acumen and proven sales skills

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Cloud Computing Expertise: Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, including experience with cloud-based software solutions.

Willingness to travel to various sites across Pennsylvania.

Ability to perform all work, and interact with others, in a safe and responsible manner.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Implementation and Maintenance of Software Systems.

Collaborate with management to identify software solutions that meet the company's needs.

Install, configure, and maintain software systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for software-related issues.

Monitor user activity across various software platforms to ensure compliance with company policies and security standards.

Generate reports on user activity and provide insights to improve efficiency and productivity.

Evaluate and optimize internet connectivity at seven different locations to ensure reliable and high-speed internet access.

Troubleshoot connectivity issues and work with service providers to resolve any issues promptly.

Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and email systems.

Implement security measures to safeguard company data and prevent unauthorized access.

Provide training and support to employees on the use of software systems and IT tools.

Implement and maintain robust data backup and recovery procedures to ensure the safety and integrity of company data.

Perform regular backups and conduct tests to verify data recovery capabilities in the event of system failures or data breaches.

Manage software licenses and subscriptions, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and optimizing usage to minimize costs. Track software usage and licenses to prevent unauthorized installations and ensure adherence to legal requirements.

Develop and conduct cybersecurity awareness training programs for employees to educate them about potential threats and best practices for data security. Keep up with of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, implementing measures to protect the company's digital assets against evolving risks.

Communicate with software vendors, service providers, and IT contractors to coordinate support services, resolve issues, and negotiate contracts. Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes as needed to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Facilitate knowledge sharing among team members by documenting best practices and lessons learned from IT-related projects and incidents.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Compute Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Must be able to travel to various PA Locations.

Working Conditions:

Conditions inside the office are generally quiet, periodically there may be mid-level noise from various equipment when traveling to other facilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing, walking, and sitting.
