Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Home Health Caregiver with prior experience to assist individuals in their homes. Duties include personal care, companionship, and light household support to improve clients’ daily lives. At least one year of caregiving experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up living areas
Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, or environment
Remind and assist with medication schedules (as allowed by state regulations)
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities
Follow care plans and document services provided
Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if transportation assistance is required)
Ability to lift 25–50 pounds, depending on client needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic
1-year hands-on caregiving experience is preferred
Job Requirements:
18 years old or more
Have a valid ID
Able to pass a PA criminal background check
Able to pass an FBI background check if you have not been a PA resident for 2 years
TB Clearance
Work Environment:
In-home setting, may vary depending on the client’s residence
