Salimetrics, LLC, a small bio-tech firm in State College, PA, is looking for a Manufacturing Technician. This position is responsible for working with the manufacturing team to produce high-quality salivary immunoassay kits to meet company and customer requirements.
Our Manufacturing Techs perform a combination of production tasks, which include operating equipment, preparing chemical reagents, coating plates.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in biology, biochem, chemistry, micro biology, immunology or a related field, and some experience using laboratory practices, principles and methods. A solid knowledge of biological science and general laboratory procedures, and a general knowledge of the metric system is required.
