As a Hair Stylist at Matura Salon & Spa Management, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to delivering exceptional beauty services to residents in senior living communities in the State College, PA and/or Lewistown, PA area one, two or 3 days a week. This role allows you to utilize your creativity and expertise in hair while contributing to our mission of Making Every Guest Look and Feel their Best!
Responsibilities
Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences.
Stay updated on current trends in hair fashion and techniques to offer clients the best options.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client records effectively.

Qualifications
Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations.
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with strong skills in cutting, coloring, hair styling, and nail care.
Knowledge of color theory and various hair techniques is essential.
Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Familiarity with salon software is a plus.
