Hello central PA film community (hah!)
I am a professional “content creator” here in State College starting a feature film project - Horror Comedy - that is in need of several SERIOUS actors (paid!) for a few roles.
We will be shooting your scenes over the summer when the weather improves. My needs are as follows:
1. Be serious
I don’t need previous experience, but I do need professionalism. You must learn the necessary lines, be on time, and stay until finished. Most roles will be filmed in one day. You will be paid for your time and credited appropriately.
2. Have a sense of humor
Paradoxical? No, I’m referring to the material. This will have an R rating and deals with controversial subject matter (in what I think is a funny way). You must be cool with this. We can talk details if you want.
3. Don’t mind getting dirty
This is a horror comedy, so there will be dirt and fake blood.
THE ROLES
A) Female Victims
I need a few scream queens, basically. College age would be ideal, any age is ok.
If there is a sorority interested in also being a location/extras, we could work that out. This would be a one day shoot.
B) Male Victims
I need one older male (over 50) for a doctor role, and could probably use a few younger males as extras or victims in conjunction with A above.
C) Female Lead
20s-40s, some actual acting chops, funny on camera. You will be the Yin to the male lead’s Yang. Strong and smart, not necessarily good-looking, maybe the young Amish mother type, a butter-churning likable bitch. That sort of thing.
SCHEDULE
Principal photography this summer, probably May-July range. Weekends not a problem. Female Lead may need to do 1-2 days travel with cast and crew to NY studio. Possible follow-up audio sessions in SC, so local is ideal!

Minus the female lead I will film you to your abilities and bring out a performance you are happy with (I’m encouraging amateurs here!). Give it a shot. Make a few bucks on a weekend. Pirate a film that you’re actually IN.
WHO WE ARE
I am what I suppose you’d call a “YouTuber,” and I am making the above film in collaboration with two other YouTubers. Together we have millions of followers, a reputable brand, and an established market.
We have NOT done full-length feature yet - just 90% of the work for one, and now we are ready to stitch it together. Our goal is to develop a studio where we put out one local indie film per year. This particular project will likely release directly to streaming platforms (I am not against back-end “points” for compensation for actual talent) - future projects we aim to release on the festival circuit.
This first project is NOT your ticket to wealth and fame, but it IS a great way to make a little money and get your face in an actual product.
