Professional shop looking for a professional technician.
We are looking for a knowledgeable technician with 6 years or more of professional experience, with some electrical diagnostic ability, who is able to identify issues correctly and document findings properly. We are going to hire a detail oriented person who can perform quality repairs efficiently and likes a positive environment. Someone who has repair experience in several makes and models - more the better.
We are a fast paced shop with modern equipment and diagnostic software. We mostly perform general repairs and services but sometimes get in a little deeper like a head gasket(s) and/or timing chain/belt, once in a blue moon we will swap a transmission or an engine but only for our loyal customers. Sometimes we get electrical problems which we tackle as a team and we always work as a team.
We provide honest and long lasting repairs for all customers. Our business is growing and we need you to be able to grow with us, training and learning about new technology. always improving.
We are not a flat rate shop but we are looking for a person who can produce hours and we will compensate you with bonus for every hour you produce over 40, You will get overtime pay and if you want more we can have possible evening/weekend jobs. We give you paid vacation after 90 days of employment. Other benefits are available, we can customize to your needs. This is a full time position, you should know what tools and licenses you need to get hired. Starting hourly rate will depend on your experience and performance. We will pay up to $21.56 per hour, what are you worth?
Business hours: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday.
Your job will include the following:
Look over the vehicles and identify repairs/services which are needed
Reading the work order and doing all the jobs listed
Perform repairs and recommended services within the time scheduled (billed time)
Properly document the repairs and findings
Have a positive attitude and ability to learn from your mistakes and move on!
Have a special skill which is: not to be on your cell phone during work hours
Describe in detail what repairs/parts are needed to correct the problem
Keep the shop and equipment clean.
Provide proper recommendations to the service manager - he will deal with the customers, your job is to fix the vehicles.
