Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure all accounting activities conform with GAAP and company policy.
AP processing and reconciliations
Maintain accuracy of billings with ability to problem solve
Assist with month end close process including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals
Daily Labor ticket entry into ERP software with reconciliations
Weekly and Biweekly Payroll Processing
Benefits administration with ability to confirm coverage and vendor billing accuracy
Cross Training into accounts receivables and general ledger reconciliations
Customer Order entry and daily shipments of products
Ad hoc projects
Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree in accounting/Bookkeeping desirable or equivalent experience
2 5 years of accounting experience desirable
Understanding of job costing accounting a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
ERP system and QuickBooks experience highly desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail and have a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently.
