CLIENT OVERVIEW:

Our client is a well-established prestigious organization in the sports industry and looking to add an experienced Accounting Manager. This company is looking for an experienced professional that can work on a team just as effectively as they and work independently with leadership skills.

SALARY/HOURLY RATE:

$45 – $50/hr

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Accounting Manager applicants must have strong attention to detail, and analytical skills. Looking for 3 to 5 years of experience with month-end close, accruals, and financial reporting, etc. Ideal Accounting Manager candidate should be hard working, and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience and/or interest in the professional sports world is a huge plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management

Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts

Perform input, maintenance, and review of financial reporting

Responsible for updating/reviewing the forecast for possibly a weekly, monthly, and year-end basis

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

Experience working at a large sized company

AP, AR, and GL Management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple echelons of the organization

Confidence to interact with the company’s executives and leaders

Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel

Track record of taking initiative and delivering results

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in related field and equivalent experience is required
