Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized and experienced Bookkeeper and Accountant to manage our financial records and support our accounting and operation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a
fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Bookkeeper/Accountant :
1) Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits, and Sales Tax.
2) Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements with company records.
3) Process and record invoices, payments, and receipts.
4) Prepare and submit monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
5) Manage and track inventory levels and related financial transactions.
6) Assist with payroll processing.
7) Handle any discrepancies and resolve accounting issues as they arise.
8)Support periodical audits and financial reviews by preparing necessary documentation.
9) Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and reporting.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a distribution, trading or
wholesale environment.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
3. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
7. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
