Job Summary:
We are seeking personable and professional event staff to provide exceptional customer service to guests during events. This role involves engaging with attendees, addressing their needs, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Interaction: Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the event, helping and answering questions about the event schedule, venue, and services.
Information Assistance: Provide accurate information about the event, including schedules, locations of amenities, and any special instructions or features.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive outcome.
Support Services: Assist with various event-related tasks such as managing lines, directing guests, and ensuring that areas are kept orderly and clean. Will help run booths for exhibitors if needed.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to any emergency situations or disruptions in a calm and effective manner, following established protocols.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from guests about their experience and report any significant issues or suggestions to the event coordinator or management.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other event staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication during the event.
Qualifications:
Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, especially in events or hospitality, is preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle unexpected situations with professionalism.
Attention to Detail: Ability to pay attention to details and follow instructions accurately.
Additional Information:
Work Hours: Days will vary depending on the event, with the hours being 5:00pm-12:00am to allow time to set up after the event. The events are always from 7:00pm-10:00pm
Uniform: Black shirt (no logos), black pants (no leggings), black shoes (comfortable tennis shoes best.)
