Two positions available- both are Monday through Friday, year-round: 12-6, and 8:30-5:30. At least two years experience babysitting/working with children strongly preferred. Duties include supervising children in the classroom and on the playground, conducting/supervising circle time (reading stories, group activities, games, etc.), assisting children with tasks throughout the day, setting up snack, overseeing crafts, signing children in and out for the day, supporting the head teacher with classroom activities, basic classroom maintenance (wiping tables, sweeping floors, vacuuming carpet, emptying trash, etc.), and other responsibilities as they relate to the position. Depending on classroom placement, diapering may be required. Individual must be punctual and love children. Applicant must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or GED. Pediatric First Aid/CPR will be required in first 90 days of employment if individual does not already have it (school will set this up). Background check required, including clearances.
