As a Camp Counselor/Lifeguard at Day Care Centers, Inc., you will play an essential role in our summer day camp program, ensuring a safe, fun, and educational environment for children. This position is vital in supporting our mission to provide enriching experiences that foster development and joy during the summer months.
This is a great position for college students on summer break. Early Childhood Education, Psychology or Sociology majors are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Engage with children in various camp activities and programs.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers during activities.
Assist in managing daily schedules and transitions between activities.
Maintain a clean and organized camp environment.
Support children with special needs as required, ensuring inclusivity in all activities.
Foster positive relationships among campers to encourage teamwork and social skills.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in a daycare or camp setting is preferred.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles is essential.
