If a position is listed with both office locations and virtual offerings, Comcast may be willing to consider candidates who live greater than 100 miles from the office for the remote option.)Job SummaryJob DescriptionDUTIES: Contribute to the Reliability Engineering team responsible for developing products used by Residential Video and Internet customers; design, develop, test, debug, and implement web-based applications and APIs to support business requirements, and debug customer support applications supporting RDK-based, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings using Java, Spring Framework, RESTful Services, RxJava, Project Reactor, event driven architecture, Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Elastic Search, AppDynamics, and Kinesis; support applications under development, and customize current applications; deploy applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS); utilize Unix operating system to configure software; work within an Agile framework; develop and support application deployment software products; develop monitoring tools to validate production environment; develop Unit tests to isolate written code, and integration tests for applications; perform load testing and performance testing; and communicate with devices over SNMP, WebPA/TR181, and Comcast proprietary protocols.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; and two (2) years of experience developing software using Java, Spring Framework, RESTful Services, RxJava, Project Reactor, Angular, Ansible, and Jenkins; deploying applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS); utilizing Unix operating system to configure software; working within an Agile framework; and communicating with devices using SNMP, WebPA, and TR181 protocols.Disclaimer:
