If Temporary or Grant Funded, Start Date and End DatePosition Description/Posting Details FA159PSTThe Department of Humanity & Society at La Salle University seeks applicants for a Non-Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Economics to begin in Fall 2025 4/4 teaching load, one-year appointment, renewable. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach undergraduate core courses in Micro- and Macroeconomics, as well as upper-level undergraduate Economics.

Teach lower- and upper-level undergraduate courses in Economics for the School of Arts & Sciences and the School of Business.

Maintain an active and successful research agenda.

Provide advisement to Economics majors as well as service to the Department of Humanity & Society, the School of Arts & Sciences, and the University.

Provide Service to the mission of La Salle University

Ph.D. in Economics in-hand by August 2025.

Strong record of teaching lower- and upper-level undergraduate economics courses

Active research agenda

Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University

Ph.D. in Economics in hand at time of appointment. A candidate with an applied microeconomics background is preferred but candidates in all fields of Economics will be considered.
