Location - Philadelphia, PA

Key Responsibilities:

Define and drive the architectural vision and strategy for cable, video, and voice services.

Design and implement solutions for VoIP, SBC, cloud-based communication platforms, and integration frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery, scalability, and performance.

Develop and enforce best practices for DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native solutions.

Define and integrate monitoring and observability tools to ensure high availability and proactive issue resolution.

Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations for enhancing network and service architectures.

Work with vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration of third-party solutions.

Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in cable, video, and voice domains.

Expertise in Session Border Controllers (SBC), VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP), and real-time communication technologies.

Strong understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and microservices-based applications.

Proficiency in integration strategies, API management, and automation frameworks.

Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack, etc.).

Familiarity with network security, QoS, and encryption techniques.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with cable service providers.

Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), VoIP (SIP, SBC), or DevOps.

Hands-on experience with containerized applications and orchestration.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
