The Career Center Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency aiding with the daily administrative operations of the center.

Interacts with employees, management, and external stakeholders to maintain a pleasant and productive work environment providing technical assistant and guidance to center staff on center operations.

Assists leadership with the on-boarding of new employees; supports with the scheduling and coordinating of internal training and staff development courses as needed.

Serves as a resource for employees for resolving minor in-office concerns; resolves any concerns in an objective and pleasant manner.

Operates office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arranges for repairs when equipment malfunctions.

Demonstrates an understanding of the career center services and programs.

Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports and other documents as needed; prepares memorandums outlining and explaining administrative/office procedures and policies.Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Post High School education preferred.

Past experience working with the targeted population. 4+ years relevant work experience. Two to three years in high-level administrative work.

Must have appropriate and valid state driver's license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd's Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.
