Since its founding in 1765 the School has been a strong presence in the community and prides itself on educating the leaders of tomorrow in patient care, biomedical research, and medical education. http://www.med.upenn.edu/DutiesManages and assists in tasks related to clinical research in the area of cancer therapy cardiotoxicity. A variety of skills will be utilized including: screening and recruitment of study subjects, administering questionnaires, conducting follow-up telephone calls, data entry, organizing study visits, corresponding with the IRB and regulatory agencies as needed, and spinning/processing blood samples. The candidate must be very well organized and enjoy interacting with patients in a one-on-one setting, as well as hard working with a strong attention to detail. Position is contingent on continued funding.QualificationsB.A./B.S. level training is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Windows including Microsoft Excel and in using the internet. Willing to perform basic processing of human blood samples. Hard working, detail-oriented; and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
