If a position is listed with both office locations and virtual offerings, Comcast may be willing to consider candidates who live greater than 100 miles from the office for the remote option.)Job SummaryAs a Cybersecurity Manager you will be responsible for leading the team implementing technical security and privacy solutions in Comcast’s TPX CONNECT organization. The Comcast Network and CONNECTivity (CONNECT) organization is an agile, fast-paced, dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best in class, most reliable network and network services for our customers. You will collaborate with multiple teams and organizations to understand the technology environment supporting the business and ensure that security and privacy controls are effectively implemented.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities:

Leads team of 3-5 full-time employees ranging in experience and skillsets responsible for implementing Cybersecurity controls and procedures related to Secure Development Lifecycle, Vulnerability Management, and Privacy programs.

Participates in the development and implementation of key goals, objectives, and success criteria for the programs with key stakeholders and the core team .

Identifies and manages program critical path, being mindful of upstream and downstream dependencies/constraints across teams.

Works with leadership and core team members to help identify and assist in making program tradeoffs to balance scope, time, and costs. Ensures proper documentation.

Ensures program milestones are accomplished and ensures overall committed timelines are met.

Creates and tracks KPIs relating to security initiatives.

Provides regular mentoring, coaching, and feedback regarding job performance, provides direction, and supports career development.

Supports recruiting, interviewing and team-building activities.

Qualifications, Skills & Experiences:

Ideal candidate should have a blend of leadership and technical skills along with e xcellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

1+ years leading technical team, setting goals and developing career plans either as a Manager or a Team Lead.

3+ years’ experience in Cybersecurity: Understands security concepts such as access management, security configurations, firewall, ACLS, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, technology resiliency, etc.

Understands fundamentals of SDL, DevOps, cloud and networking.

Cybersecurity certifications in CISSP, CISM, and GSEC, a plus.

Demonstrates ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Demonstrates critical thinking, solves problems, and can adapt to changing business and technical demands.

Demonstrates interest in others, encouraging adaptive development, and promoting a sustainable and inclusive team culture.

Experience as a coach and mentor for early-career and mid-level engineers.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or higher desired.

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience. Relevant Work Experience 3-5 Years
