The Counterparty Financial Analyst, Manager position is responsible for the delivery of key financial management and reporting functions for Radian Mortgage Capital's counterparty sellers, including reviewing and analyzing monthly/quarterly management reporting derived from various mortgage lenders and banks. This incumbent will manage and analyze financial reporting to include: variance analysis, financial forecasting, and ad-hoc analysis activities to render counterparty approval or advise management of corrective action monitoring, when required. The manager will have oversight of counterparty seller's liquidity reporting, preparation of maximum total outstanding commitment limit calculations, financial monitoring, profitability analysis, and other reporting and analytical projects that support the counterparty risk management framework. The Manager, Financial Analyst will need to contribute and effectively communicate on periodic seller forecasting efforts. You will work with independent mortgage bankers to review their financial statements, assess their risk profile, and provide feedback and recommendations. The incumbent will work with the accounting team to support management of RMC contractual recapture premiums and billing matters.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSummarize financial results in a concise manner to allow for actionable and effective decision-making related to counterparty approval or changes inReview seller financials periodically, analyzing trends and explaining variances against forecast.Prepare and maintain reporting to include review of counterparty financial results and document any concerns related to seller's financial performance indicators.Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting of RMC's results and updated forecasts, Board of Director Reporting, etc.Monitors and reports relevant industry data and peer comparisons specifically identifying mortgage market trends in conjunction with active seller data.Evaluate and participate in counterparty renewal reviews.Support the periodic and annual financial reporting.Perform modeling and analysis to support counterparty decisions.Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/counterparty monitoring tools.Enhance and refine RMC financial policies.Provide ad hoc financial support and analysis.Complete other responsibilities as requested and necessary.QUALIFICATIONSBasic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:

Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Work Experience: 8 or more years of prior work experienceAdditional QualificationsStrong financial experience in areas such as forecasting (Income Statement/Balance Sheet), P&L analysis, reporting, financial modeling, portfolio analysis, etc.Experience in Mortgage Industry or financial services is required.Requires strong hands-on analytical and organizational skills.Strong technical and data management/modeling skills.MS Excel and other MS Office proficiency required.Strong understan ing of and experience with forecasting tools, financial modeling, and accounting systems.Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization and with outside personnel. Ability to work autonomously, but also contribute as a team player in a group setting.Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle shifting priorities and work within a dynamic environment.Ability to travel to our Denver, CO and Wayne, PA officesPreferred Education Level: Bachelor of Accounting or Finance
