NBC10 Philadelphia is in search of a digital content producer to help cover local news across
our suite of platforms, including NBC10.com, the NBC10 app, our 24/7 streaming channel, OTT
apps, and social media platforms.
This person will be responsible for ensuring our digital platforms have the latest news and
weather information and analysis. They will work to develop programming for our streaming and
digital platforms, working closely with broadcast reporters and producers.
A successful candidate will possess the skills necessary to:Use all social, multimedia and digital tools to grow our audienceReport and write news stories for our website and mobile appEdit and produce digital and streaming video contentShare related content on, and manage operations of, social media platformsEdit, and produce and create digital video taken from broadcast and other platformsIdentify noteworthy stories of the day and engage our local audience across platformsStay on the cutting edge of trends and innovation, including OTT and FAST channelsMonitor news sources and social media for story ideasEngage with viewers and sources who reach out through social mediaCoordinate with the national digital team and other NBCUniversal Local stations to ensure best practicesManage digital communication with newsroom
