Executive Meeting Manager (EMM)The Executive Meeting Manager is responsible for managing and servicing Wedding Room Group Blocks, local catering events and other group blocks of 10 rooms or fewer. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment.The EMM serves as the main point of contact from inquiry through event execution, ensuring a seamless experience for both internal and external clients. Success in this role comes from your ability to anticipate client needs, manage details efficiently, and deliver the refined level of service that defines the Sofitel brand.What You’ll Be DoingClient Relationship ManagementServe as the primary sales contact for all Wedding Group Room BlocksServe as the primary contact for all local catering events and small room blocks (10 rooms and under).Build and maintain strong relationships with local clients and repeat partners.Conduct site inspections, tastings, and planning meetings to ensure all client expectations are met.Respond promptly to inquiries and prepare detailed proposals and contracts.Event Coordination and ExecutionPlan and manage all aspects of small meetings, events, and social functions — from setup to billing.Work collaboratively with Banquets, Culinary, Front Office, and Operations to ensure flawless execution.Manage event details including menus, AV needs, room setup, and guest room logistics.Monitor event progress on the day of execution and ensure timely communication of changes or requests.Sales & Revenue ManagementAchieve or exceed assigned revenue targets for catering and small group room segments.Maximize revenue opportunities through creative upselling and menu enhancements.Prepare accurate event orders, BEOs, and group resumes in a timely manner.Ensure all billing and post-event follow-up are handled promptly and accurately.Collaboration & Brand ExcellenceRepresent Sofitel Philadelphia’s standards of luxury, elegance, and personalized service in every interaction.Partner closely with the Sales, Banquets, and Revenue Management teams to drive local business growth.Contribute to departmental meetings and special projects to support continuous improvement.
