We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as Hotel Receiver / F&B Porter
This role oversees all receiving operations, managing stock, verifying quality and quantity of deliveries, and organizing goods. Your work directly supports our Culinary, F&B, Front Office & Housekeeping teams in delivering the elevated experiences that define Sofitel.What You Will Be Doing:RECEIVING:Supervise and execute all receiving operations for food, beverage, and general supplies.Safely operate equipment including pallet jacks, when necessary, to move or organize deliveries.Ensure accuracy of deliveries against purchase ordersSubmit all invoices/documentation to the F&B AdministratorCoordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments, including client packages and group materials, collaborating closely with Sales, Events, Group Contacts, and Concierge to ensure seamless handling.Oversee the organization, cleanliness, and upkeep of the receiving and storage areas and loading dock in compliance with HACCP, safety, and brand standards.PORTER DUTIES:Work collaboratively with Culinary & Stewarding to ensure food items are delivered promptly between the different kitchens/storage areas.Work collaboratively with Culinary & Stewarding to ensure staff cafeteria is stocked at all meal periodsEnsure organization and timely return of pallets.Ensure breakdown and baling of cardboard boxes
