Position SummaryThe Investigative Analyst will provide research and administrative support to support the Department in its attempts to enforce various provisions of the Philadelphia Code through prosecution.  The position reports to the Department’s Litigation Support Manager.Essential FunctionsConducting research through various search engines to find valid property owners and their current addresses whose properties are in violation of the Philadelphia Code;Helping to identify owners with numerous properties and determine whether those owners maintain their properties in compliance with the Philadelphia Code;Assisting in preparing cases for court;Inputting information to L+I’s management systems, including tracking cases through the court process and recording results of hearings.Assist with gathering documents responsive to subpoenas and right-to-know requests.Assist with special projects as needed.Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CLEAR required.Candidates must be well-organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to find creative solutions to problems.Candidates must be to learn different systems quicklyCandidates must demonstrate a desire and willingness to learn, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work independently.
