Description Junior Litigation Plaintiff Associate (Center City, Philadelphia, PA)Our esteemed client, a dynamic and growing plaintiffs firm located in Center City Philadelphia, PA, is actively seeking a talented and ambitious Junior Litigation Plaintiff Associate to join their dedicated team. Specializing in advocating for individuals and championing justice, our client is committed to providing exceptional legal representation to their clients. As a Junior Litigation Plaintiff Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's litigation team. This position is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented attorney with 1-2 years of experience who is passionate about plaintiff-side work. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and contribute to the firm's commitment to securing favorable outcomes for their clients.Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Assist senior attorneys in case management and preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court to facilitate the progression of cases.
Attend court proceedings, depositions, and client meetings as required.
Collaborate with the legal team to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and legal precedents.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
1-2+ years of relevant litigation experience.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Demonstrated commitment to plaintiff-side litigation.
Demeanor to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines.
Trial / courtroom experience a plus.
