LPD Lab Technician

ResponsibilitiesNoblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Noblis MSD is seeking a Lab Technician to support Engineering Control Systems (ECS) for the Landing Platform Dock (LPD) and Landing Ship Medium (LSM), formerly known as Light Amphibious Warship (LAW), ship classes. This position is located in Philadelphia, PA.The Lab Technician's responsibilities will include:

Provide management of lab materials and ensure delivery to appropriate personnel

Coordinate with in-service engineers and Fleet stakeholders to stage/ship assets to/from ships

Faciliate technical installations, repairs and training

Develop and execute implementation and test plans

Assess proper integration with various systems

Provide periodic updates of installation/repair activities as required

Provide feedback for test plans and technical documentation

Perform data collection, metrics development, and analysis in support of all efforts

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related technical field or degree may be substituted with a HS degree and 4 years work experience in demonstrated supply systems and/or inventory skills

Organized and able to communicate clearly

Able to complete assigned tasking with minimal to no supervision

Should have a Secret to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications

COMPTIA SEC + Systems administration skills

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours.
