Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking qualified candidates for Medical Case Specialist opportunities on our Veteran Affairs Operations team. You will serve as the face of the organization through direct interactions with military service members, delivering exceptional customer service at all touch points.Who is Leidos QTC Health Services?

As a Medical Case Specialist, you will work closely with veterans and the Veterans Administration to gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources. You will use software for functional area to schedule appointments and document in the case management systems while ensuring customer service at all customer touch points.In this rewarding role, you will:

Required to make specific amount of daily outbound calls to schedule appointments for examinees, including follow-up appointments and rescheduled appointments while maintaining customer satisfaction standards.

Communicate directly with claimants.

Triage daily download of referrals and ensure appropriate worksheets are assigned to corresponding conditions as identified by Veteran's Administration

Determine appropriate examinations, tests and specialists required for each case.

Meet or exceed contract timeliness guidelines in both the scheduling and case management systems.

Ensure all examinees and providers receive necessary documentation.

Other projects and duties as assigned.You must have:

High School diploma, or equivalent (GED) or 2 years of experience in lieu

1 to 3 years of related experiencePreferred:

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Experience coordinating appointments for patients.

Proficiency in utilizing various computer applications (i.e. MS Office), EMRs and other scheduling software.

Highly skilled in multi-tasking while managing multiple priorities.Typical Day:

Monday Friday - 8:00 am 4:30 pm or 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (EST)

Remote position - after the training has been completed.Pay and Benefits:

Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation. One (1) year experience as a RN. Required Certifications and Licensures: Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation. Must possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order. Ability to travel to all business locations.
