Tuesday, December 24, 2024U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking a Painter for our Philadelphia, PA location. The painter will be responsible for interior and exterior painting and re-painting of walls and ceilings. Responsible to take immediate action to resolve corrective maintenance issues.
May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES:
Repaint damage or deteriorated surfaces
Paint new work installed by others
Touch up painted areas
Clean and prep painted areas
Works with other staff as assigned or independently
Reports to supervisory personnel for material list and timelines for the completion of a project.
Make light carpentry/masonry repairs in preparation for area to be painted.
Install ceiling tiles, floor tiles, walls/base trim in areas as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/BASICQUALIFICATIONS
Basic literacy and the strength and dexterity required to perform heavy lifting tasks.
High School Diplomas, GED or Trade School
Must provide own basic hand tools and test equipment
Capable of reading drawings and layouts
Must be able to read and speak English clearly
Valid Driver's license
Able to climb ladders and walk long distances.
Able to pass Background Investigation without Criminal history.
Must be able to pass Pre-employment Drug Screening and Random Drug Testing.
Must be able to work overtime when required.
Must be able to work in all climate conditions.
Will be working in a Correctional environment, which is a 24/7 operation.
