Posted Date: Apr 23 2024As the Project Manager, US Medical Operations Oncology Therapeutic Area (TA) you will be responsible for providing process, discipline, and structure to support effective planning and execution of the Medical Plan and effective running of the Medical Matrix Teams.Key Responsibilities:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following.Medicine/Congress/Launch Plan Tracking and Management:

Tracks and Maintains Medical/Congress/Launch plan in Smartsheet (supports data-entry and maintenance)

Supports tracking progress/status against UMAP activities to provide status of deliverables and alignment to budget; Provides reminders on due dates

Support development of individual congress goals and plans.

Tracks and maintains individual detailed congress activity plans (supports data-entry and maintenance)

Schedules execution checks when needed

Follows up with business owners on progress and completion of activities

Coordinates complex business processes for pre-specified tactics (not responsible for completing activities, documentation or approvals).

Support of Medical Matrix Team and Congress Planning Meetings:

Call for agenda items, agenda and time slot planning

Collating agendas and pre-reads

Scribe for meeting; capturing and circulating meeting outcomes and decisions

Tracking meeting actions and follow-up with action owners

Pre and post meeting communications

Archiving content in an appropriate repository that is readily available for team referenceSupport of Annual Business Planning process:

Calendar, Tracking and Timelines

Process support for planning meetings (Scribe, call for agenda, action tracking, etc)

Completion of budget or other required templates

Collation of materials and plans

Coordination of processes related to completion of Medical Impact Framework and quarterly reporting

Areas for Scalability in role depending on TA/Business Area Model:

Help prepare materials needed for organizational presentations.

Secure System approvals as Business Owners Delegate - where appropriate per process.

Act as a trusted business partner to the USMA Enterprise, Global Franchise and US Pharma and drive continuous improvement by introducing innovative ideas and identifying better ways to creatively streamline ways of working.

Lead Special Projects for TA-Wide initiatives that align to USMA Ambitions.

Administrative support of certain congress activities:

Internal communications to attendees, at the direction of Business Owner

Physical logistics; e.g., hotels, registration, meeting space, room schedules, etc.

Post-congress activities; e.g., AARs, metrics reporting, GLASSES, and other storage of documentation.Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in Medical Affairs

1 or more years Pharmaceutical company experience

Experience working in large matrix organization

Experience in leading, managing and working collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams, with and without authority

Experience in process management, operations, and budget management

Experience in managing senior stakeholders, communication planning and change management

Smartsheet + basic Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneNote, Teams, Office)Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Project Management Certifications

Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities

Understanding of GSK matrix and organizational functions
