An innovative and creative thinker, the Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the coordination and execution of media relations activities relating to cross-practice initiatives and industry teams. In this key role, you'll work seamlessly with lawyers and with marketing, brand/creative, and business development professional staff teams across our footprint.The Public Relations Coordinator is instrumental in executing the firm's media relations strategies by assisting the day-to-day organization of these profile-raising campaigns, including assisting with the distribution of firm news, content generation, and tracking & reporting.Morgan Lewis recognizes the benefits of supporting flexible working arrangements. This position can reside in any one of our Boston, Philadelphia, or New York offices with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.Responsibilities include:
Assists in executing profile-raising efforts, including media relations activities to position the firm and lawyers as leaders in their field.
Works closely with the PR Manager and other members of the team in the execution of cross-practice campaigns, including theme development (including competitive research and market analysis), content creation, and charts appropriate dissemination across relevant communication vehicles.
Tracks project schedules, deadlines, and assists in reporting metrics to evaluate the impact of the campaigns.
Composes, edits, and formulates communications and conducts competitive intelligence research.
Owns creation and maintenance of the firm's media lists.Experience and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience with at least 1 year of marketing, communications, media relations, or comparable discipline in a corporate setting.
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally and experience excel in highly matrixed work environments working across multiples business units and functional teams.
Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to work independently as well as manage projects and assignments to effectively prioritize and balance competing demands.
Ability to act with a high degree of integrity and maintain confidentiality and superior reasoning skills and sound business judgment.

For positions in NY, the salary range for this job posting is $61,639.00 - $98,622.25.The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to pri r experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package.
