Regional Maintenance Specialist

The Regional Maintenance Specialist is a high-level technical role responsible for the expert-level repair, maintenance, and optimization of complex production equipment across commercial print facilities. This role serves as an internal subject matter expert, bridging the gap between standard facility maintenance and expensive third-party OEM service visits.Subject Matter Expertise: Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues on primary press platforms and associated building equipment. Specifically Manroland, Heidelberg, and Komori.Preventative Maintenance: Develop, establish, and manage a cost-effective PM program by analyzing equipment failure trends to maximize machine uptime and operational efficiency.Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest technologies and apply Continuous Improvement (CI) disciplines to positively impact quality, productivity, and cost.Project Management: Lead technical projects to ensure timely completion, budget attainment, and alignment with department operating plans and capital/expense budgets.Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with plant management, manufacturing supervisors, and internal support groups to resolve problems, achieve daily throughput goals, and reduce waste.Vendor Relations: Work frequently with outside suppliers, vendors, and contractors, maintaining highly ethical business practices.Regional Support: Provide dedicated support to multiple regional facilities, requiring a willingness to work remotely and travel frequently.Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
