Security Awareness Training Specialist - 10512DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled specialist with training and communication experience to join our cybersecurity awareness and training team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security practices. The primary responsibility of the Security Awareness and Training Specialist will be to support the security awareness program's initiatives to promote security best practices and compliance throughout the organization.Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies to effectively promote security awareness and drive secure behaviors.
Actively contribute to project meetings focused on information security awareness initiatives.
Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of security awareness programs with organizational goals.
Design, develop, and deliver security awareness and training programs, materials, and resources to educate employees on information security best practices.
Test, design, edit, and implement information security web courses for deployments.
Develop instructional guides and supplementary materials for posting on the Chubbintranet, ensuring clear and concise communication of cybersecurity concepts to regular users.
Track and report on key performance indicators and metrics to measure the impact and success of security awareness efforts.
Streamline the process of creating, reviewing, and updating ServiceNow knowledge base articles.
Support the planning and implementation of phishing simulation campaigns.Qualification & Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information security, communications, or a related field.
2-4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity awareness and training or a related field.
Strong knowledge of information security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
Experience developing engaging and interactive training materials, such as presentations and e-learning modules.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong prooing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess training needs, measure program effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Security Awareness Practitioner (CSAP) are a plus.At Chubb, we are committed to equal employment opportunity and compliance with all laws and regulations pertaining to it.
