Braskem America, Inc. seeks a Supply Chain Optimization Planner in Philadelphia, PA, responsible to: Act as the Braskem America Supply Chain power user and focal point for the implementation, improvement, and maintenance of the supply chain optimizer and optimization cycle to maximize profitability in the supply chain planning process; Develop and implement monthly business processes to support the optimization cycle, including the gathering of executive Sales, Operations, and Inventory Planning inputs for both the short and long-term supply chain planning cycle; Review monthly optimization outputs with the supply chain planning team to confirm accuracy, alignment with strategic supply chain strategy, and to guide continuous improvements of the optimization process; Responsible for validating, analyzing, and communicating the supply chain optimizers optimal Production, Sales and Inventory plan to a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior leaders; Coordinate optimization practices with peer subject matter experts in other regions to align a set of best practices and resources to support regional and global integrated planning, analysis, processes, and tools; Develop and enhance understanding of the overall global/local commercial and supply chain strategy to support Braskem's strategic vision; Serve as regional focal point for Supply Chain special projects associated with planning and optimization activities for IT systems; and Lead the development and enhancement of strategic KPI's to monitor integrated optimization process and to guide continuous improvement of optimization cycle.10% domestic and international travel.Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or related field, plus 24 months in job offered or related supply chain, commercial, or, engineering role.Experience to include: IT systems and projects (SAP ECC, APO, IPB; SCO, SCMart optimization tools); Analyzing data and solving complex problems; Supporting the development of new tools, processes, and IT systems; Forecast-to-stock processes, tools, and systems; Optimization concepts and understanding of Production process and constrains; SCO tool to improve EBDITA;
