Perform high complexity testing on donor and patient samples. Resolve compatibility problems; provide basic reference and consultation services to hospitals and transfusion services. Perform automated and manual test procedures on donor and/or patient samples. Adhere to explicit standard operating procedures and interpret test results in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements. Provide support, development and/or technical resource to internal or external customers. Perform on-call duties as required. Must maintain state or board certification, if applicable, and attend continuing education programs. Performs work in compliance with accrediting agency standards. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

Perform duties associated with receipt, coordination, shipment and transport of donor and patient blood samples to include ordering, receiving, inspection and preparation of supplies and reagents. Meet performance and productivity standards.

Perform daily equipment maintenance checks as directed. May assist with the routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of laboratory equipment and software maintenance.

Perform serologic, molecular and immunologic procedures that may include, but are not limited to, DNA extraction, PCR amplification, sequence-based typing, STR analysis, probe hybridization/detection, cytotoxic crossmatching, antibody screening/identification by Luminex and/or ELISA assays and other procedures as defined. Recognize testing irregularities, identify the cause, determine the solution and resolve the problem or refer it to the appropriate level. May perform special testing.

Perform and review quality control as directed.

Communicate with hospital or transfusion facility personnel to report patient findings and/or receive orders. May consult and communicate with personnel at other medical facilities to facilitate resolutions to problems and address the needs of customers both internal and external.

Review and interpret final results; p epare reports, written or electronic. Maintain, edit and review computer and manual records to assure accurate record keeping. Maintain accurate, legible and complete records. Maintain an orderly workspace.

Assist in evaluating and implementing new laboratory techniques and/or procedures.

Shift Information: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

Education: Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Chemistry required. Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or equivalent certification preferred. Licensure if required by state.

Experience: 1 year of commercial/clinical laboratory, blood banking, HLA or molecular laboratory experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities: Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must possess critical-thinking skills and attention to detail. Promotes quality-driven work environment. Ability to work on a team.

Travel: May involve variable locations and some travel.

In this role, the International Tax Manager will be charged with advising clients on a broad spectrum of international tax matters including tax planning, research, quantitative analysis, modeling of tax impacts of planning and international tax compliance. The Tax Manager, International Tax Services will manage international tax consulting projects for multinational businesses including identifying planning and optimization needs, developing solutions, communicating to the client in a non-technical manner while managing risk and coordinating the overall implementation process between the client, BDO internal services teams, BDO member firms globally and outside advisors. The Manager will also assess international tax filing obligations for the multinational structure(s), reviewing the international tax returns and overseeing the international tax compliance process, where appropriate, in addition to reviewing/developing tax technical positions. This role will also serve as a career advisor, train, and develop tax associates in addition to marketing, networking, and business development within area of experience.
