TITLE: VP of Supply Chain OperationsLOCATION: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)SCHEDULE: Full-TimeTRAVEL: < 5% COMPENSATION: $160,000 - $180,000 + Bonus BENEFITS: All employees receive access to our health insurance plan (we cover 75% for employees, spouses, and children), unlimited paid time off, 401K with company match, and equity stock options.ABOUT THE ROLEAs the VP of Supply Chain Operations, you will serve as a key member of our senior leadership team. You will be responsible for the full-scope of inventory, quality, warehousing, distribution and transportation functions. You will establish policies and programs which drive company performance, growth, and profitability, and also promote company culture. You will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality, cost-effective, on-time products.Core Functions/Duties      Strategic Planning & Leadership:Define and implement the organizational structure of Supply Chain operations, and develop the hiring plan to support this new function.Analyze broad and complex issues, and formulate and execute strategies to ensure that deadlines and priorities for product delivery to customers are met in a cost-effective manner.Provide strategic direction & leadership in management of a high-performance team.Foster effective interdepartmental coordination between assigned departments and departments assigned to other members of the executive leadership team.Process Improvement:Identify and resolve inefficiencies by driving improvements in operating processes  and inventory practices. Implement the use of digital tools to improve current operating processesContinuously revise and improve existing compliance strategies and proceduresDevelop & implement processes, trainings, and systems to support strategies as neededOwn deployment of corrective/preventive actions to avoid customer service/compliance eventsFacilitate continuous performance improvement by encouraging innovation, supporting reasonable risk taking, being open to new ideas and keeping up to date in the function.Operations:Manage all supplier relationships for direct and indirect spendReview & negotiate contracts with suppliersDevelop & drive adherence to inventory replenishment procedures & efficient management of inventoryManage inventory levels in market, submitting purchase orders to packaging sites & coordinating with distribution hubs to ensure appropriate target stock available in marketBuild and own the quality organization, process, and metrics.Implement S&OP/SIOP processes.Fiscal ManagementOwn budgeting & coordination function to achieve supply chain metrics, KPIs, & costs Monitor financial reports on a regular basis to ensure that budgets are met and encourage creativity to keep financial outcomes within the established budget.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirect performance, and holds direct reports accountable for creating a safe environment for all and for delivering high quality services. Responsible for hiring, orienting, coaching, counseling, and evaluating direct reports.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
