Purpose of the Role:

As an Atelier Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional customer

experience in our upscale chocolate boutique. Your focus will be on delivering outstanding

service, showcasing our exquisite range of chocolates, and maintaining the high end, clean and

welcoming atmosphere of our store.

Key Responsibilities:

Exclusive Weekend Availability: Ability to work holidays and weekends. This position is for

shifts on Saturday, 11-6pm, and Sunday, 10-6pm, with the potential to expand hours

seasonally, if interested (not required).

- Customer Service Excellence: Greet and assist customers with a warm, welcoming

demeanor. Offer knowledgeable recommendations and ensure a high standard of

service throughout their shopping experience.

- Beverage Program: Learn how to prepare limited menu items that we offer, from hot

sipping chocolate to espresso drinks.

- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our chocolate offerings,

including ingredients, origins, and unique selling points. Share this knowledge with

customers to enhance their experience and drive sales.

- Sales and Merchandising: Assist with the presentation of products, including arranging

displays and ensuring that the shop remains visually appealing and aligned with our

brand standards.

- Operational Duties: Handle transactions efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale

system. Manage inventory, restock products, and ensure the store environment is clean,

organized, and well-maintained.

- Inventory Packing and Shipping: Assist regularly with the packaging of products. When

e-commerce is active, assist with packing and shipping of orders to ensure timely and

accurate delivery. Ensure that all products are securely packaged and prepared

according to our quality standards.

- Customer Feedback: Listen to and address customer feedback and concerns in a

professional manner. Contribute to creating a positive and memorable shopping

experience.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous barista/hospitality or retail experience, particularly in a high-end or

luxury environment, is preferred but not required. Passion for premium products and a

keen interest in chocolate are essential.

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.

Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic retail environment.

Attributes: Attention to detail, enthusiasm for luxury products, and a commitment to

upholding our standards of excellence. Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs. Reliable

transportation to South Philadelphia.

Compensation: $15/hour +tips
