Bad Brother is looking for a full time line cook & F/T Dishwasher to add to our small tight-knit back of the house team.
This position is five days per week and 37 - 40 hours depending on the week. The restaurant is open for dinner service only and shifts start at 3:30 PM and usually end around 11:00 PM on weekdays and 11:30 on weekends.
This position requires a reliable person who has the ability to handle volume while staying organized and maintaining fine ding level of detail . Pay starts at $17 - $19 per hour based on experience and skill level. We make everything from scratch and change the menu daily while rarely repeating dishes, plenty of room for growth and creativity. We believe in doing things the right way without taking short cuts. We are looking for like-minded individuals who take pride in their work and clock in everyday with a whatever it takes attitude and a willingness to work with others. We deep clean the kitchen including all the equipment nightly.
We are also looking for a full time dishwasher. This position requires light prep work and the willingness and ability to carry bus tubs full of plates up a flight of stairs.
We currently need someone 4-5 nights per week, the more availability the better. We are a very fast paced restaurant, this position requires a naturally hard working, reliable person with a positive attitude. This position is 4 nights per week but sometimes 5, the ability to pick up shifts occasionally is a huge bonus. Typical shifts start at 3:30 PM - until the kitchen is cleaned usually around 11:00 PM. $15 per hour. Must be a team player and must have a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
Ensure excellent product quality.
Prepare all food items to order and in timely fashion.
Communicates with team and management regarding food items and orders.
Proper maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
Minimize waste of product.
Keeping work area and tools properly clean.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach shoulder level.
Must be comfortable working in an environment with exposure to hot temperatures.
Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
