We are seeking a responsible, energetic truck driver and utility worker to join our team! Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be comfortable driving 10–20-foot box trucks (no CDL required).
This position involves assisting in the "behind the scenes" aspect of events. This includes but is not limited to unloading the truck, running the dish area throughout the event, reloading, returning the truck to the commissary and following a short “closing” procedure.
Applicant will need to be extremely punctual, show excellent time management and organizational skills, and be able to move quickly and efficiently. Working with others as a team is also necessary! It takes a village!
Applicant will be expected to work weekdays/weekends dependent on event schedules and be comfortable being on their feet for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities:
Arrive at Feastivities on time, ready to pick up truck, and get to the event on time.
Load and unload truck (MUST be able to lift 50+ lbs.)
Assist with set up and breakdown of event.
Set up bussing (dish) area and help servers/kitchen with clean up throughout event.
Ensure glassware, dishes, and silverware are returned to the proper receptacles.
Assist with general clean-up of venue.
Ensure truck is returned to shop at the end of the evening and closing procedures are followed closely.
