Artesano Cafe is seeking an experienced, energetic barista to join our dynamic team! Located just below the iconic Manayunk Bridge, Artesano Café offers both indoor and outdoor spaces with expertly crafted espresso drinks, good food, and unforgettable vibes. We pride ourselves on quality coffee and teas, fresh panini sandwiches, and our unique houseplant selection.
Employment Information
Employment type: Part-time, Tuesday to Sunday
Pay: $15 per hour
Expected hours: 12–30 hours per week
Shifts: 2–4 shifts per week

What You'll Do
Beverage preparation: Prepare and serve espresso drinks, teas, and other café beverages
Food service: Assemble panini sandwiches at lunch time
Customer service: Work the register and provide exceptional customer service
Plant consultation: Advise clients about our houseplants and their care
Operations: Handle transactions accurately using POS system
Maintenance: Maintain café cleanliness and organization throughout service
Guest engagement: Engage with guests and make recommendations
Requirements
Minimum 1 year barista experience
Knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee brewing methods, and café operations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable transportation
