Bredenbeck’s Bakery is looking to expand the already well-established cake decorating team. Bredenbeck’s is a small family business, with growing demand. The ideal candidate is hard-working, adaptable, and takes pride in their work. Buttercream decorating proficiency required.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate has a passion for decorating, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment. This role involves creating beautiful and consistent cakes for our store display and custom orders while maintaining quality, speed, and creativity.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a cake decorator or in a similar bakery role preferred.
Strong artistic skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently without compromising quality.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks in a busy kitchen environment.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and decorate cakes for both store display and custom orders according to bakery standards and customer specifications.
Maintain consistent quality, speed, and presentation across all decorated products to meet production goals and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Keep up with industry trends and bring fresh, creative ideas for seasonal menus and displays.
Assist the pastry and production teams as needed with general bakery tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks as part of daily production.
