We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager & Assitant KM to join our dynamic team. The Kitchen Manager & Assitant Manager will assist in and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency throughout the restaurant. Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal menus and implement new recipes and cooking techniques.
- Conduct regular tastings and quality control checks to ensure dishes meet our high standards.
- Manage kitchen budget and costs to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement procedures for food handling, storage, and sanitation.
- Interview and hire new kitchen staff members.
- Manage conflicts and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure that all kitchen staff adhere to our company's hospitality standards and maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Experience with food industry technology, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- A passion for food and hospitality, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- A valid bartending license is an asset, but not required.
- Experience working in a hotel or other hospitality environment is an asset.
- Strong interviewing skills and the ability to evaluate candidates effectively
