Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team. You will play a vital role in meal preparation in a small kitchen inside a bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities are:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
Close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
Creativity in menu planning and willingness to learn new cooking methods.
Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Line Cook Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Hours: 11:00 am - 9:00 pm- we are open everyday. Flex shifts available.
