Looking for parttime prep & cooking help to support our lead cook in an upscale lunch operation with a friendly, creative and welcoming environment. The position is for 8-12 hours/week; would be a good situation for someone with a dinner service position looking to pick up a few extra hours or someone who is looking specifically for a parttime situation with daytime hours (10am-3pm).
The position involves:
- Supporting our lead cook in fulfilling orders from a small menu of healthy, globally-inspired lunch options: sandwiches, soups and salads;
- Completing all prep tasks and ensuring adequate inventory of supplies for following day service;
- Leaving kitchen and all equipment properly sanitized and prep station organized;
- Assisting in the development of new menu items and involvement in all menu prep;
- Maintaining an ordering schedule and correctly storing received inventory.
