Since 1993 the super friendly and knowledgeable team at Metropolitan Bakery has been tempting Philadelphians with freshly baked and hand-crafted bread, pastries, snacks, and their famous granola made from locally sourced ingredients. Metropolitan Bakery is seeking a Pastry Baker to join our team. This is a full time or part time position at our Production Facility located in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia.
Position: Pastry Baker
Full or Part time Shift - 4:00 am to 12:00pm, up to 5 shifts per week
must be available weekend
Language requirements: Must be able to read and write English
Experience: 1 year of previous pastry production
Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
Job scope: Daily production of bars, brownies, cakes, cookies, croissants, danishes
