Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning ingredients
Assist with menu planning and recipe development
Follow standardized recipes and ensure consistency in food quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely service
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Prep Cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Culinary degree or certification is a plus
