We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our team at A Taste of Britain. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the table-turn process operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
The Primary Responsibility of the Porter at A Taste of Britain is to serve as the "gap-fill" between our Dining Room and Dish Station. The 3 key areas of focus for the Porter are; 1) Transport soiled dishes from bus station to dish station, 2) Transport clean dishes from dish station to service area, and 3) Polish and put away clean dishes in service area.
This is a very physical job and requires the ability to life heavy bus-tubs of dishes and transport them up and down stairs.
Our service hours are 10AM-5PM and we have both full time and parting schedules available.
Other Responsibilities as directed by GM could include:
Bussing Tables
General Cleaning
Equipment Cleaning/Preventative Maintenance
Assist the Team: Support the kitchen and retail staff with various tasks such unloading deliveries

Previous Experience: While previous experience in a similar role is desirable, it is not essential. We’re happy to train the right candidate!
