La Chingonita is a family-owned and operated Mexican Restaurant in Fishtown, looking for passionate, responsible, and fun people to join our team!
We are seeking a Part-Time counter person to work Tues-Sunday 3-9PM. Compensation includes an hourly wage, shift meal, as well as pooled tips that are split with everyone working the same shift (FOH & BOH).
Responsibilities include answering the telephone, greeting and taking orders from walk-in customers, and packing take-out orders. We do mostly takeout and delivery so the majority of the job is packing orders and dealing with delivery drivers as well as some sidework (filling side salsas, guacs, chips etc).
