Introduction

We are a Cosmetic Dental practice in Center City Philadelphia. We do not work evenings or weekends. With 2 doctors, 2 EFDAs and 2 hygienists working each day, we need another dentist to help with the patients. Our long time dentist just opened his practice so we now have an opening.

Duties

The dentist would be completing all simple restorative, composites, crown and bridge, hygiene checks, and simple endodontics and implant placement if you chose to. Invisalign and veneer experience are a plus, but we will train if necessary. You will be doing your own consultations and completing the treatments that you diagnose. We deliver comprehensive and quadrant dentistry in as few visits as possible. Our Expanded Function Dental Assistants place most fillings and temporary crowns and strive to make your job as easy as possible.

Education and Experience

An active Pennsylvania dental license is required. 2 years minimum experience in private practice is required. You must be very proficient with fillings, crowns and bridges. A good-vibe attitude, easy to work with, enjoys dentistry, confident and being an excellent communicator are needed to join our team.

If you are seeking a heavy mentorship position where you are guided through the basics of dentistry, unfortunately this is not the position for you. We are willing to train, assist, support, and encourage. but you must be proficient in the basics of dentistry. Implant placement, endo, Invisalign and veneers are a plus, but if you do not do these, it is not a dealbreaker. If you have any interest, please apply and we will work together to make this a win-win for each of us.

Special Requirements

Good communication with your assistants, other staff members, referring dentists, and the office managers is a must. Participating in a paid office meeting once a quarter is required.

You must be a highly responsible individual and work with the scheduler and assistant to reach your goals every week and month, as your bonus based on production. Staff morale is highest when everyone reaches their goals, so we set office goals that are attainable and helps everyone to feel accomplished. Calling patients to follow-up on care and reviewing their treatment plans to be prepared for the day is expected.

Preferences

A dentist who is eager to learn, is open to new methods of management, likes the business of dentistry, has an eye for detail, is an upbeat, caring individual, is highly ethical, wants the best for his or her patients, communicates well, is flexible and fun to work with, wants to fit into a team environment, and is seeking a position that will make him or her a better person and a better dentist is our ideal candidate.

The office is Philadelphia Dentistry (www.PhillyDentistry.com).

Our team has grown the office into one of the most respected dental practices in Pennsylvania. The employees are a true team - one that works together efficiently and enjoys their work. We are seeking someone who wants to join us and help us to reach goals for 2026.

If hired, your staff consists of some of the most highly trained dental assistants and office staff possible. Your hygienists back 100% of your recommendations and work very efficiently. The practice is well-managed and run. The office is newly renovated with 6 operatories each with intra-oral cameras and new chairs. The location of the office is in the Medical Arts Building, a professional building that houses mostly dentists, chiropractors, and doctors in a high-rise near Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. We are located on a high floor with beautiful views of the city.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience, flexibility, availability, skill level, long-term commitment, communication skills, technical skills and scope of dentistry that you practice. Compensation starts at a guarantee of $100/hour plus a percent of your collectible production. Since we do not participate with insurance, what you produce is what you receive a bonus from. There is no delay in being paid as there are no insurance write-offs.

It is possible to earn $2,000+ per day for a productive dentist. An independent, ethical, experienced dentist can be rewarded very well. We have steadily grown for many years, so this job is stable for you - provided you follow policy and always treat the patients ethically.
